Since our fence is made of steel and not welded, posts remain straight and perfectly aligned no matter the temperature. Unlike wood or vinyl, the horse rail fences will not warp or sag over time, nor will they be destroyed from cribbing.
Rails are simply inserted into pre-punched openings on the rails, fitted with unique rubber grommets. These grommets protect the board’s surface and allow you create any angle, whether you’re looking for laser straight lines or elegant curves.
During installation, a lock spacer is dropped inside each post to engage the rails and eliminate the need for nails or screws, saving valuable time and big hassles.
Buckley Steel Board Fence is highly visible with rounded smooth edges and no nails, screws, or fasteners. The length of the rails allows them to flex for improved horse safety and the steel rod reinforcements enhance strength in the case of larger livestock. When the rails are pushed or impacted, they will cushion the horse and spring back to a perfectly straight line.
In the case of a stampeding and panicked horse, its energy is sufficient to cause the rails to bend, buckle, and release from the posts with no breakage or splinters. This prevents serious injury to the horse, unlike with wood, vinyl, welded steel, or masonry-style systems.
